Sweet Summertime

September is a reminder that summertime is wrapping up.  The leaves are changing colors in the pacific northwest and it is definitely sweater weather.  Here is a song from the past that keeps me in the summertime mood.

Check out my fun card that uses the Concord & 9th Sweet & Cool Dies.  The sentiment is from their Brushed Blossom set.

The popsicle has been cut from Ranger watercolor paper and I used the 'smooshing' technique with distress inks (Spiced Marmalade + Picked Raspberry).  I smooshed the ink on my craft mat and then I spritzed it with water.  I dropped my die cut panel right on top and let the paper pick up the colors.  I always finish it off with my heat gun.

Plaid, I'm mad for plaid💚  Love the Doodlebug - Fun in the Sun paper pad!

Don't forget about the sale!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by and I hope you have a great week!

Amy

  7. Did you feel like that popsicle in NYC? Sweet card. Love all the white space and your border!!! I'd trade a few more days of rain and September for a melt day and cool treat... Guess I'll just have to keep thinking of your card!♡♡♡
