Happy Winter!

Toni with you today sharing a cute winter card (aka, didn't quite get all my Christmas cards done on time).

I'm featuring the adorable Lawn Fawn Winter Unicorn that coordinates so very well with the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Border die and Gina Marie Designs Magical Castle die. Everything is layered but to pull the castle out visually, I lightly sponged some Distress Ink Tumbled Glass behind it and the clouds. It was so fun and easy to make this cute scene!

Holiday Thank Yous

Happy Boxing Day!  It's Amy here with a look at some of my holiday thank you cards.  I never tire of coffee, so I decided to make them latte cards:

These are square 4.25 x 4.25 inches cards.  The coffee cup is from Concord & 9th's Let's Chat!  It's been stamped with Versafine Onyx and watercolored with Zig Clean Color Markers.  The sentiment is from SugarPea Designs, Espresso Yourself.

With the help of my Mini MISTI I was able to whip up 6 of the same design.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

SNOW place like home

Hello friends.  Katie here!

How many days till Christmas?  T-minus 6 days and counting!  Can you believe it!?!?

Typically we go to visit family during the holidays but we are unable to travel this year.  But, no matter, what place you call home, this card is for you.

This card features the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud dies, they help to make the perfect backdrop with this Good Tidings Collection DP from American Crafts.  I love the stitched edge and the colorful snowflakes falling. I inked up the Lawn Fawn Snow Cool stamp set  while using my Hero Arts Intense Black.  I also had some extra images from a few Pretty Pink Posh sets that made the perfect accents, like the bucket and igloo.  I colored it all us using my Copics and added the fun sentiment to remind me of home.

While you are here, you might as well join this month's challenge...  you can find it here!

Thanks for visiting and whatever you celebrate have a wonderful holiday season! ~Katie

Challenge #6 Winners & More Inspiration

A couple of days late for announcing the Challenge #6 winners--let's blame it on crazy holiday preparations! The entries were all amazing and it was really hard to narrow down our top 3.  Really hard!

The winner is #1 Claire Broadwater! Congratulations, Claire! We loved the woodgrain and bold plaid in this fun masculine card!

The honorable mentions were amazing too. Congratulations in order of entry to #12 Cris G and #14 Karin Akesdotter! Everyone, please grab a badge from the top tab if you like.

There's still plenty of time to join in our current challenge #7 which runs through December 31. Hope to see you there!

Vintage Holiday Card with Concord and 9th

Toni with you today with a bit of a glammy, shabby, vintagey card for you.  It all started out with an experiment with the Delicata Golden Glitz and Concord and 9th Stripe Builder set. Oh, yes! Next stamping the Concord and 9th O Christmas Tree bottle brush tree in gold--shows up better than I thought it would. Yay! I had used Ranger watercolor paper which distresses very nicely along the edge. But, then I was stuck for a while before I decided to color the seam binding with the Delicata--matchy, matchy. The sentiment really balances things out in that ultra deep Versafine Onyx Black.  A bit more detail on my personal blog, Frankie Helps Craft, if you're interested.
