Have A Claw-some Birthday

Hi everyone it's Lenae here from SugarGem. When I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn I HAD to buy it for my honey. We have 2 labrador retrievers and their dad has an addiction to playing the claw machine at the grocery store and winning stuffed animals for them. Sometimes he comes back from the grocery store with 9 stuffed animals. The dogs go nuts for the toys. I made this card for him for his birthday.

It's Your Day to Sparkle

Oh how I love this Happy Day stamp set by Concord & 9th. It's so beautiful and the sentiment I stamped inside is so perfect for a jeweler friend of mine. It says "It's your day to sparkle".  This friend is very special to me. She is hands down the most positive person I know. She pretty much sparkles everyday, but I want her birthday to be extra sparkly!

If you know me then you know I love everything that sparkles. I pretty much have to add glitter to all my projects.  Hope you like the card and it inspires you to add a little sparkle in your day.

You're a Treasure

Hi there! It's Lenae here from SugarGem.

Oh my word I'm sure you have seen the Magic Slider die from Lawn Fawn, but if you haven't go check it out over at the Heart Desires Store! It's such a fun die set and has a lot of fun dies that can also be used without the slider mechanism dies. For example the stitched oval, stitched rectangle and stitched heart dies.  You definitely want to get the Lawn Fawn Push Here Stamp Set  to go with the Lawn Fawn Interactive Dies.   I also used the new Lawn Fawn Ahoy, Matey.

I needed this set just for that darling treasure chest and the little diamond! The plaid paper is Lawn Fawn Plaid Christmas Paper 6x6. The Christmas pad is actually really great for all year long.

Swoon!

Thanks for taking a look and be sure to check out the new Challenge #13.

Sending You Hugs

I think I've mentioned this before, but my great grandma's name was Bunny. So every time I play with the My Favorite Things Somebunny Stamps set I think of her. She was so sweet and loving. Always loved giving hugs. I'm sure I'll be sending this to my grandma for a little thank you. This stamp set really has great sentiments for thank you and birthday cards which is what I tend to need the most of.

I also used this We r Memory Keepers Next Level Embossing Folder - Bouquet.  If you don't have this set yet you need to order it now because it is a beautiful must have. It is beautiful just by itself for a gorgeous super fast last minute thank you card.

Thank you so much stopping by!

Snowflake Thanks

Hi everyone it's Lenae here from SugarGem. Today I challenged myself to create a card with very few layers with the THD Challenge #8 inspiration. I always struggle with simple cards. I always feel like I have to layer and layer, but I have a hard time stopping. So here is my attempt. Let me now what you think.

Fairy Christmas

Hi, everyone.  It's Lenae here from SugarGem with a little Challenge #5 inspiration.  Oh my word this inspiration pic has seriously inspired me.

I absolutely fell in love with the Lawn Fawn Frosty Fairy Friends Stamp set the moment I saw it. This sentiment is my favorite; it is a must this year!  I figured I might as well get started early on my Christmas cards. Hope you will join in with the challenge this month!

Other items in the store that would work great with this month's Challenge would be: Avery Elle Caroling Critters, Avery Elle Big Greetings, Carta Bella Pumpkin Stencil and Lawn Fawn Jump For Joy.

Coffee Lovers Fall 2016 Blog Hop

The Heart Desires Store is so very pleased to be a sponsor of the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop again! This time you could be a lucky winner of one of two $15 gift certificates.  How cool is that?!

The DT has worked up a few warm and cozy cards in celebration of the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop.

Be sure to check out the coffee, tea and cocoa-themed stamps and dies in the shop and use the code: 2016FCLBH to get 15% off everything in that collection!  The latest releases from Altenew, Avery Elle, Lawn Fawn and Newton's Nook have arrived with more on the way.  Just in time for the holidays!

(using Neat & Tangled Big Bold Brew and corresponding dies)

You have a few days left to join in The Heart Desires Challenge #4.  The elements this round are the colors, (sun)flowers and/or sketch.

Hi it's Lenae here from SugarGem. I am so glad it's getting closer to hot chocolate season. Cocoa and whip cream or cocoa and marshmallows.... Mmmmmm.

I had a lot of fun making this card. I used some vellum and embossed it with white embossing powder. I love the look of the vellum, but seem to forget to use it on my projects. Today is the day!
