And I am not ready to say farewell. Honestly, I can't think of a summer in recent history where I've been less ready.
And like summer, all relationships have their own story, a whale of a tale, bigger than the sea, and sometimes so hard to let go.
Oh summer, must we part so soon? May I remain caught in your net forever!
I have used the Hero Arts Waves Stamp with three blue inks to create the ombre sea. This can be achieved with the following: Hero Arts Waves Stencil, Hero Arts Ombre Ink Tide Pool to Navy, Mini Ink Blending Tool.
Tonya also has Hero Arts inks in Aquatic, Deep Ocean and Summer Sky, or Ombre Mint to Green all of which would work really well with creating your waves.
I have also featured these awesome Teardrops and Clear Dots.
Inside I feature the sentiment from Kaisercraft's Say Aloha Set.
Finally, if you've been following our posts here, you may recognize this awesome whale I featured in a mini-album back in July. He's from the Carta Bella Set Whale of a Tale. Stamped in Unicorn White and heat embossed, then fussy cut.
If you haven't checked out Toni's post from Tuesday, make sure to do so! She and I are on the same wavelength this week with our ocean inspired cards-- and we did not consult at all! You know what they say about great minds!!
I hope your summer has been full of enough wonderful tales to fill an ocean! Enjoy your remaining weeks of the season, and check out all the great new fall items in the store to get a head-start on your autumnal creations!
love all the texture and layers--great minds indeed!

ReplyDeleteJust like you I'm not ready to give up Summer, oh no! I will only do that when I'll have to wear a sweater for the first time after Summer, which hopefully might be extended up to middle October... or not :).
So love everything about this collage!
ReplyDeleteA whale of an awesome card...rich with a marvelous combination of elements and images! LOVE!
